We focus on prevention and wellness for all of our people, from unborn children to elders. Yellowhawk provides wrap-around services from primary medical and dental care to Behavioral Health and Physical Therapy for our people.
The CTUIR is a model community in terms of participating in its own healthcare decisions. It was the first tribal group to utilize the Community Health Representative Program (established in 1968), and the first to own their own clinic (construction completed in 1972).
Our Vision is to help our Tribal Community achieve optimal health through a culture of wellness. Our Mission is to empower our Tribal Community with opportunities to learn and experience healthy lifestyles.
